Это вафельная бумага.почему в видео говорят про рисовую?
It's the same as wafer paper
Is rice paper edible?
Yes
Hi Verity! Just came across your Chanel. I was looking for this information. I just clicked here because of your Name. My daughter is one and half year. And her name is Verity. But I have never in real come across or met anybody with this special name. 🙏
Hi I had a penfriend years ago from UK 🇬🇧 when I was very young and lost contact with her like you said the name is very unique im now 65 and would love to hear from her again 😢❤
@olivelb4857 Oo hope you can find her
Me to She's probably married now her name was Verity London..from UK 🇬🇧
This is the best demo I have seen of this....well done. Love the fabric...I could go mad with that! Been a confectioner and cake decorator since 1964[!!] Fascinated by this, well done. Thank you
wow i like ur creativity, the fabric looks nice
Can I buy the rice paper at the supermarket
Please recipe ingredients name
Rolkem products are NOT even edible. 🤦🏼♀️ It’s only for use in crafts so all these brilliantly shiny metallic paints on cakes is not fit for human consumption 🤦🏼♀️
I don't think you're in touch with how edible colours are created in the form of luster dust so don't criticise if you don't know what you're talking about 😢😢
Cake designer here. Roklem products are absolutely edible. What planet are you from?
@klaudijabogdanovski of course I use these kinds of products all the time some of these people are out of touch lol 😆
@@olivelb4857 Absolutely
This is fascinating - but I don’t get how you get the pattern on the fabric?
Think it was patterned rice/ wafer paper Clare
@@mactire3661 Ahh I see - Thankyou!
Great video frnds
Great video. But I'm not seeing a recipe to buy on this youtube channel or on your website.
Please stop Promoting this disgusting gelatin it’s made of dead innocent baby animals ripped away from their mothers and tortured and murdered. Then they rip their spines out and other organs and pulverized it into a nasty powder. Please just use agar agar powder which is a plant based gelatin and works just as well as this but doesn’t murder babies to make it
im guessing you vegan
Damn tell us why you really mad geesh Karen
It’s called the circle of life bud
Shut up OP ...gelatine is not made from spines - it's from the leather, hooves, & cartilage of the remains of pigs, cows & even fish, after meat cuts are taken. Animals are NOT killed specifically for gelatine.
Can i warm it with a double boiler if I don't have a microwave? Or stick it in the oven for a few minutes?
Yes
Hi, can I substitute corn syrup if I don't have glycerin?
corn syrup has nothing to do with glycerin. It's not the same product.
Are all glycerin edible? I live outside US.. and i can only find glycerin in the pharmacy.. i dont know if thats considered food grade
Go to a cake store, you will find glycerin for cake there.
Ask the pharmacist for it
Thank you for the teaching. Can wafer paper be used
Very cool
What is the name of the silver dust?
Corn flour? Do you mean corn starch?
Both are the same thing :)
Super tutorial love how easy you make it
What bloom did you use
When should you color the paper? And what type of color whould we use?
Can we use agar agar?
Really appreciate this detailed tutorial! Thank you
Love the tutorial, can you do one on how to apply to the cake?
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation and tutorial, I love it! You're awesome! 👍
If you need to wait for a few minutes, between steps, maybe you could stop taping for that amount of time, and then come back.
Did you print the flower one?
Too much talk.
i thought i was the only one who got tired of the talk
@@akpewevivian1812 It's because the viewers doesnt look for questions that has been discussed already and same questions pop up over & over again. Thanks for Verity's patience repeating herself to the same questions.
I know this is 'edible' but how is it to actually eat on a cake? Can anyone feedback on this?
This is basically just meant for decoration. You can eat it if you want - no harm coz it's edible.
@@henriq4355 I've seen it used successfully to decorate cake boards mainly., Especially for wedding cakes etc
@@maz2032 Thanks. I haven't used it for cakeboards coz the material is too small for my boards. But I've tried and used it quite a few times already and it's amazing! Thank you Verity for sharing.
I wouldn't suggest to cover a cake with this - doable though. You can probably apply a flavorful of icing if you want to do this to at least cover up for the rice paper taste. Try eating a rice paper - and it will be the same. Unless you add a flavoring to it. This is amazing idea from Verity.
At what stage do you add the dust for the silver and gold and how do you store it for later use if your getting ahead of an order or do you have to use as needed
I dont have a clue what I just watched.
You didn’t eat it.
Never heard of Edible Fabric..will have to watch again to understand what you're doing.. Thanks for sharing.. ❤❤❤❤
Hey there, just wondering if you can keep the mixture and reheat to use again? Thanks 😊
What type of printer and ink would you recommend?
Edible food coloring into a regular printer. We do it all the time on sugar sheets. This is how you get photos onto cakes. Edible sugar sheets go right into a printer that's been loaded with food coloring.
That would be the edible ink and printer
DO NOT try to use an old printer that used regular inks in it and then try to replace the cartridges with edible ink. Buy a new printer that has never been used and only use edible inks in it.
Sorry i dont found the recipies
She tells you the measurements and shows you the products on the video. 4 Tbsp of water, 2 Tbsp of gelatin, 2 Tbsp of glycerin. The video shows you how and when to use each.
What kind of paper did u use please
Rice or wafer paper you can fine on Amazon
rice paper
Can you use Agar the vegetarian version of gelatine?
It works. Uploaded on my channel
Can kosher gelatin be used?
Awesome! For next time just time lapse or edit out the wait so you don't have to rush the gelatin or the drying time. I liked it that you showed the whole process. Amazing recipe. Thank you so much.
How do you apply it it the cake
Thats where I have gone wrong - thank you so much for your reply xx
It's nice
Hi I have made your recipe a couple of times - however as soon as I put in onto my cake it reacts with the fondant like it melts the fondant on the cake any ideas
Hi, you have to let the fabric 100% dry before putting onto fondant , you can make your decoration as soon as a couple of hours after making it but let them dry for a day or two before adding to the cake then fix with royal or melted chocolate x
Hi Marie. I tried Verity's recipe and placed it on my cake with buttercream & fondant and I didn't encounter any issues at all.
@@henriq4355 I think like Verity said to make sure its dry I was practically putting on cake straight away - a blanket for a dog bed (bed being fondant covered cake)
Hi everyone, sincere apologies as I rarely get a chance to reply to all the messages here, I am so pleased you are all liking the recipe and video, if you wish to buy the recipes or have questions please go to my facebook page Veritys creative cakes. thank you all once again .

@Nikolas Kareem You are welcome :D

I am so in love
Is the rice paper the same kind that is used as the wrapper for spring rolls?
Cheryl Donnelly no
Claudias Projects ....is the rice paper also called Wafer paper?
Update: I just tried it on a spring roll wrapper & it did work. Took a few minutes to get stretchy.
No. It's the same material as the 'host' they use for church communions. Or the so called wafer paper.
